the old CD rom Resource edition 1.0 was better for searching

Could you please re-issue the software, "The Scriptures" cd-rom resource edition 1.0? This is an extremely valuable scripture study tool and is much better than the search capabilities and navigation in the current version online at lds.org's scriptures. The old way was much better, and now it won't install on most recent versions of Windows. I have used it since it came out in 2000-01 or so. But my computers keep changing over the years.

here on a laptop with Win 8.1 and it seems to be working just fine. Second link down on the left.
I agree. The desktop tool has always been much better for searching, copying, and for other uses. Enjoy.

I noticed at that link that the most recent version is from 2012, so they appear do be doing some maintenance on the product. If you're having specific problems, they also have a way to contact support for that product.
