For a larger ward, I've included a 10 person passing route map

6-Deacons Sacrament Routes Map

Post by htoomey »

Here is a handy route map for 6 deacons/ AP holders passing sacrament.
Our chapel is rather new, built in 2019.
The spreadsheet is easy to modify for your own ward.

PS - It is a modified version of David Bowman Jr.'s "deaconsmap.xlsx". Thanks!

Do you have an editable version of this map?

I haven't downloaded the map, but the .docx and .xlsx versions offered are Microsoft Office editable files. If you don't have MSWord or Excel, there are other apps that will read these files (some free) and they usually work fine as long as there is not MS-specific formulas or features incorporated. I have used both Open Office and Libra Office in the past and both work quite well for free options.

Here is a map for 10 deacons to pass in a traditional seating arrangement for most chapels.
Numbers 5 and 10 start in the foyers and move up the outer benches.

If the deacons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10 finish early, they can move down to meet deacons 6, 7, 8, and 9 until everyone has been served.
