List of Satellite Channels with Labels

#1

Post by markverdera »

To moderators,

May I request for the complete satellite channels with labels, so our Stake may have a copy of it.

Thank you.

Your stake clerk, or his stake technology specialist, will be able to help you with this request. If you are asking about the channel assignments for the new satellite receivers to determine how to receive a specific language, he should look at the information available in the Help Center.

Typically, during the "pre-roll" the programming will be English, but periodically and language will be announced. (The word will be spoken a number of times - such as "Spanish", "Spanish".)

English and Spanash are the same satelight channel, but one is the left channel and one is the right. The problem could be as simple as being tuned to the wrong modulator (wrong channel on the TV set), or it could be something mis-wired. It depends on how you were connected to listen to the program.

Well it was installed by pfr. Our receiver goes straight to hdmi.
So I was hoping it would be a setting on the receiver that would allow to simply set it to the correct setting. I’ll take not of the left right thing. Hopefully if somebody else knows a better way to separate the video and audio from the broadcast.

If you mean FM (Facilities Management), then I'd contact them and let them fix it.

I'd be leery about fixing it with receiver settings as they may get changed by a "refresh" just before a broadcast.
