Is it possible to export notes from scriptures on cd?

Is it possible to export notes and highlighting made with the scriptures on CD? I have been asked by someone if it is. All I know is that they have the cd version of the scriptures, have been taking notes and and marking them via this program, and that he wants to export them and use them again on a new computer.

Does anyone have any experience with this?
