how do I order handbook 1 for a Bishopric member that lost one?

I'd suggest calling local unit support. Given the restricted distribution, I don't think the church wants to make it too easy to order a replacement.
It's possible it's something the stake clerk would have to order.

In the past the stake president had to write a letter and explain what had happened to the copy and what had been done to try to recover it. But it's been about 10 years since I was involved in a case like that.russellhltn wrote:It's possible it's something the stake clerk would have to order.
Calling LUS is the way to go but expect that the stake will have to be involved and probably the stake president.

And they -absolutely- want a physical copy rather than the online copy?
