List of which positions has access to what?
Is there a place that shows who has access to what features of lds.org? Specifically, who has access to the Reports> Forms> Boundary Proposals?

The Access Table is available on LCR on the Other menu. It shows for each calling which features they can access.cfitch wrote:Is there a place that shows who has access to what features of lds.org? Specifically, who has access to the Reports> Forms> Boundary Proposals?
You're asking the reverse question, which isn't answered directly by the Access Table, but can be answered indirectly if you are patient. You can change the dropdown for the calling to see for any specific calling whether it has access to Boundary Proposals (which is in the "Forms" area of the Access Table), and repeat for all the callings. This particular feature can be accessed by a small set of people: the stake presidency, the stake clerk (but not any assistant clerks), and the stake executive secretary.

Assistant clerks don't have rights to see the page in LCR, but they do have rights to the online system if they go to it directly.aebrown wrote:You can change the dropdown for the calling to see for any specific calling whether it has access to Boundary Proposals (which is in the "Forms" area of the Access Table), and repeat for all the callings. That's too funny. I am sure there is a perfectly plausible explanation for it, probably related to site setup and programming code.jonesrk wrote:Assistant clerks don't have rights to see the page in LCR, but they do have rights to the online system if they go to it directly.
But in essence, it appears that they have access if they try to access it, but they don't have access to see if they have access to it in the first place.
Gotta love it. Just having a good day here. No response expected. [grin]

And here we are 5 years down the track and not a danged thing has changed - they still can't get in and neither can a Technology Specialist (at Ward level but apparently a Stake level TS can) How stupid is this.

There's no reason why any ward position should have access to the boundary proposal tool.

And Technology Specialist at the ward level is a relatively new calling (just over a year old).
