I have two LDS accounts one I made years ago and the other I made as I became employed with the Church. Now that they are checking recommends with my LDS account it states that I am not a member and I need to type in my membership number. I have tried this and it says that number already connects to another LDS account. ( which is true ) I called the help desk and they said they were not able to delete any one of my account or they are not able to link the two together.

Which help desk did you call? It's been my understanding that they can.

But what all is tied in with the account that doesn't have your MRN? It might be simpler just to abandon that one and not use it anymore.
