Same. New Pixel 4. Android 10. All security protocols are updated. Get same message, i.e. "Tools services are unavailable. Try again later."
Tried deleting app and reinstalling. Several times. No luck. Suggestions???

Re: LDS Tools Services are unavailable
For anyone still struggling with this, I just finally got sync working on my older Android 6.0 tablet. I had the same problem as described above, and I couldn't get it to sync at all.
However, I want manually into the app permissions for Member Tools and enabled everything. I believe the permission for Storage is probably the important one, but I turned them all on. For some reason Member Tools isn't triggering the pop-up that requests the permissions it needs. You can manually set permissions under Settings - Apps - Member Tools - Permissions. Please, every Android device is a little different though.
It worked for me, hopefully it can help someone else out.

Same. Android 11 and it's not working. Confirmed that I can login via the website.

The issue I am finding is if your Play Store services are either not installed or out of date, this won't work. Why would our private membership data be reliant on Google's spy services?

Re: LDS Tools Services are unavailable
Google Play Services provides various "infrastructure" that apps use to do their work. It's somewhat kind of similar to saying you need to have a particular version or higher of Android to run an app because of what that version Android can do. (Same principle just on a "more specific" level).
