I've been having the same problem in receiving this error message when synching. Ultimately I uninstalled the LDS Tools app and reinstalled it on my phone. BINGO, that solved the synching problem for me.
I've uninstalled and installed several times and still can't sync!!! So frustrated!

I am having the same problem with my phone and notepad. My phone has the right OS (5.11). This is very frustrating. All was well two weeks ago. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several time on both devices.
There is a problem with the LDS Tools for Android sync function that is being worked. Unfortunately, there is no estimated fix time.
Where was it posted that a fix action was occurring? What is the fix action? What was the sync problem specifically?

The problem has been discussed at length in a number of topics here at the Forum. A revised version of the app (3.5.4) was released a few days ago.
It is my understanding that there was an interface problem. LDS Tools gets most of its information from other services, and it appears that one of the services returned an unexpected response that LDS Tools was not able to handle.
