Stake Clerk - No Administrator

Though our stake has a technology specialist, he is not acting as the computer administrator. It would appear that the responsibility may devolve to me.

Is there a way to notify the MLS system who the administrator is, etc.?

Thank you,

Mike Klobas

Administrator for what? By policy, the "clerk" login should have Administrative rights in Windows.

If you're talking about MLS, then you have to change the MLS user to have admin rights - but you have to be an MLS admin to do that. Who was the last administrator for MLS? Worst comes to worse, you'll probably have to call clerk support and involve the Stake President.

I'm with RussellHltn - administrator to what?

I'm guessing you are referring to the ward/stake websites. If that is the case, no, there is no way in MLS you can make yourself an administrator on the website. A current stake website administrator would need to grant you that access. If that is not an option, I'm sure you can contact support and have them initiate a new administrator.

If you are indeed talking about MLS, yes you can be made an administrator inside the MLS software. A current administrator just needs to go to system options and edit the permissions associated with your account.
