Scripture Playback Errors on Desktop

I've tried many times to listen to the scriptures on my desktop web browser and the website playback app can never get through a chapter. My phone's app works fine, but the website (chrome & mozilla) always jump to the end and stop prematurely, usually within the first 30 seconds or so when I start listening.
