Can't remove highlights (5.0.19.0)

I can't seem to find a way to remove old highlights. Trying to revamp the method to my marking madness. Any help would be great.

You can simply select the same highlight. Click edit, then resize or delete.

I am having the same problem of being unable to delete highlights OR to make notes to previously highlighted material. If I try to select the highlighted area, nothing happens.

Same here. I’ve been trying for several years to delete old highlights hoping there will be a change in the formatting. Some have transferred from old formatting and I can’t even see through the highlight to see the words. I hope this will be addressed soon.
