Just chiming in to say I'm having the same issue on my iPad Pro 2nd generation. Any solutions yet?

I am having this same problem...goes into eternal update mode then fails and I am on an Android. Do we have a solution yet? I have tried Uninstall and reinstalled same problem. Then I tried finding the App under Gospel Library as an app that can be installed. App was already installed but gave me the error of not being able to link user ID and password. I Uninstalled and reinstalled from this route and it goes into eternal update. Is there a solution?
