Paying Tithing thru Bank Transfer

#1

Post by lucastaichou »

Hi Everyone!

I'm from the Philippines where Online Donations are currently not available.

Is there someone here who does Bank Transfer instead? How is it done?

Thanks!

Online donations through the church web site is already done by bank transfer.
If that is not available to you then there is no other way to make online donations.

It is my understanding that there may be other options for other countries. If there are any options in the Philippines, your ward/branch clerk should know how to set them up. If he doesn't he can reach out to his stake/district clerk for assistance.

Just to be clear this is only for members with a BPI (Bank of the Philippine Islands) account in the Philippines.

Paying tithing online. Changing banks

Hi,

I wish to eliminate an old my bank account that will be closing.
How can I eliminate one of my bank accounts so I don't transfer
money to a closed account?

First create the new donations account by clicking the "Add Donation Account" button. Then make it the default account by clicking the "Make this my default" option. Then delete the old bank account by clicking the trashcan icon in the upper right of the account box.

Currently only bank checking and savings accounts can be used to make online donations. You may want to check with your ward clerk to see if there other methods available to make donations in your country.

The instructions to give donations via AUB Hello Money were given to all unit leaders from the Area Communications. Most of the ward clerks have a copy of this unless there is a change in callings. If there were, the new unit leader can always request a copy from the Stake.

Anyway, I also found this Youtube tutorial --> https://youtu.be/oeDeMTnaXaQ which is mostly in Cebuano. Note to all that this is only for members in the Philippines.
