Ward Council Members – Temple and Family History Leader

Why doesn't the Temple and Family History leader's name show up when trying to send a message via LCR to the Ward Council? Is there a way to add that calling to the Ward Council members listed under Applications/Send a Message/Ward Callings?

The temple and family history leader isn't a standard member of the ward council, but "may be invited to attend ward council meetings as needed" (General Handbook, 7.4). So, including him on the email list would be helpful in some wards, but not in others. There isn't a way to customize the standard lists built into Leader and Clerk Resources, that I'm aware of.

No there isn't. If any email communication(s) sent to the ward council needs to be sent to the family history leader then the family history leader can be added to the email group list before sending the message. Essentially the Send a Message app provides convenience in quickly sending messages to specific groups. But any member of the ward can be included in any message as long as there is an email address in their membership record.
