Sidebar stopped showing content of scripture links

This week, I noticed that when I tap a link to a scripture reference, the sidebar opens but only shows the chapter name and nothing more. It usually displays the verses of the related, link.
I’ve tried rebooting, uninstalled/reinstalled, deleted all my downloaded content and re-downloaded it but nothing fixes the problem.

It’s only happening in my iPad Mini. My husband’s iPad Air doesn’t have this problem. Attached is what displays when I tap the Mosiah 3:19 link.

Same for me (iPhone). Sidebar just shows chapter number. Clicking on it will take me to the verse, but in a screen, not on the sidebar. Kind of annoying because it requires so many extra clicks.

Any suggestions / solutions?

This is fixed in the current public beta, and will be fixed in the next release (5.9.0). It was caused by a content change in how links are formatted.

Do you have any idea when v5.9 will be released?

If all goes well, 5.9.0 (for iOS) will be released next week.
