Are you guys able to have a 'webinar' and a 'meeting' at the same time? I understand that we are supposed to be able to have 2 meetings at the same time with a Church Zoom account, but on our account having a webinar running means no one else can start a 'meeting', but I can start two 'meetings'. I'm just trying to make sure there isn't something wrong with our specific account and I can't find anything on Zoom support forums.

Tip - DOMAIN NAME FORWARDING - Back when we first started broadcasting meetings we registered a domain name (i.e. "loganward.org" - not the real domain) so that we could give that to all our ward members as THE url to always use to access ward broadcasts, and then we just setup that domain name to forward to whatever link we needed it to. This gave us the flexibility to try Youtube, Google Meet, and Zoom and not have to keep giving different URLs to ward members. Super glad we did it and felt it was worth $12 spent to get the domain. Just thought I'd pass this idea on to others.

Can you provide some instructions on how to switch the account once I've already tried setting it up? meet.churchofjesuschrist.org already shows that I've got the licensed successfully transferred, but now I'm getting the 2,205 error. How can I change the email without being able to log in? Thanks in advance!

Who made the change? Can they tell you what they changed it to?

If you can't log in, then it would seem the only option is to use the feedback link on the meet page.

Help! I am in Taoyuan Stake in Taiwan. Currently, Stake President assigned me to below calling:
1. Stake Communication Specialist ---> This calling doesn't work to get Zoom account.
2. Add me to be "Stake Assistant Clerk--Technology Specialist".

So far, I have 3 callings on the LCR list, "bishop, Stake Communication Specialist, and Stake Assistant Clerk--Technology Specialist". I still cannot get in the Zoom account setting page.
Does the bishop calling impact that? Should I have to be removed from Stake Communication Specialist?

The bishop calling is likely affecting it.

That page was originally setup for selected leaders to get a Google Meet account. Apparently having another calling that qualifies for Google Meet confuses the page and prevents you from seeing the Zoom option that you should see as a STS.

Am I correct in noting that the Church sponsored Enterprise Zoom account does not have user or group management options? Is that due to the Church sponsored account assigning "Your Role" under Account Profile as "Member"? If so, I guess that the Church sponsored Enterprise account offers limited management options. Even so, having a no-cost webinar option for Sacrament Meetings and being able to host two simultaneous meetings is still useful.

With the Professional Zoom account that I have, my role is assigned as "Owner" which allows me to manage users and groups. If there are any Church Zoom "experts" out there, I'd like to hear your suggestions for the following.

- Is there a way to assign users and groups so that EQ or RS (or any other group) can access the account using their own unique ID/password to schedule/start/manage/end meetings without being able to view meetings that others have scheduled? I'm looking for a way to maintain the Bishop's privacy when he schedules interviews with individual ward members.
- We'd rather not share the Bishop's log on credentials with anyone beyond the Executive Secretary but would like to give log on access to auxiliaries so that they can use the account, too. If an auxiliary representative (president, counselor, secretary) has a basic Zoom account, can that account be linked to the Enterprise or Professional account so that the basic account's credentials can access the licensed accounts functionality in order to schedule/host/manage meetings?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

The unit account is a USER, so anyone who logs in with that username/password combination will see everything the unit account user has configured. If the Bishop wants to use the account for confidential interviews it would be better if you just created an event called “Bishop’s Interviews” and blocked it for three hours (or whatever). Set up a waiting room that each interviewee will go to until the Bishop admits them to his “office.” Now if the RS President wants to schedule a meeting during the same time she will create a second meeting for her activity (with its own unique meeting number) using the same credentials the Bishop used but from her personal device. This way there is no breach of confidentiality as long as the other users who know the admin credentials don’t try and join the Bishop’s meeting and see who is in the waiting room or in the meeting.

tkendall1 wrote:Yes! I'm getting the same "User not exist. (1,001)" error message when attempting to activate the Zoom account for two (2) of our units. I've tried contacting Zoom tech support: no dice. They require the meeting ID and Host code, and of course I don't have those *since the account never activated*. I've tried cancelling ("remove") the two accounts in question from the meet.ChurchofJesusChrist.org site but that hasn't worked. Zoom won't pick up the phone because I'm not the system administrator for the entire Church account, and the Church HQ won't talk to me because it says to use this forum. What to do??? Oh yes... the other 11 accounts set up just fine, including those that I transferred from previous paid accounts.
I have the same problem with one ward. I cannot remove it from the Church registry because it has not been completely created. I posted a Zoom support case, but I wonder now if they will respond. The problem is on Zoom's side because they sent the Bishop of that account an email to complete the setup.

I searched several times but I haven't found anything we can do to remedy this issue.

What we STS's (and wards) need is the Church Zoom account manager reach out to Zoom to address their problem.

You might try submitting your request through the "Give Feedback" link on the Zoom enroll webpage: https://meet.churchofjesuschrist.org/home/zoomenroll
That seems to be the most effective way of getting help with account problems. In my case, it took two or three days, but they fixed my problem.
