Zoom vs Meet sign-up

I am a stake technology specialist, and I went to
http://meet.churchofjesuschrist.org to get the ball rolling. I did this on my phone, and when I was done, I had a new Google account for Meet. What about the Zoom credentials? How do I get those? I didn't see an option anywhere and am baffled as to how to do it. Thanks for your help!

If you don't see the option when you go to the meet page, the system isn't recognizing you as the STS.
This might be because you're an assistant STS, out of unit member, or have another calling that gives you access to Google Meet and it's confusing the system. Assuming you're properly recorded as a STS, there's nothing that can be done except wait for the system to be fixed.

Could it be because I'm a high councillor in a YSA stake and I also have membership in my home stake? If so, what's the workaround?

The ability to assign a Zoom license to a unit is limited it only the STS. Not assistant STS, not stake clerks, not high councilors. Only the STS.
There seems to be an issue with STS who also hold callings that can request Google Meet accounts. There also seems to be an issue with a out-of-unit STS. Aside from changing callings, there's no work around until it's fixed.

You do not have the proper calling. See

My callings are listed as:
Assistant Technology Specialist
Assistant Technology Specialist
Audit Committee Member
Stake Scheduler--Bonnie Doon Stake Center
Stake Physical Facilities Representative
Stake High Councilor
Stake Physical Facilities Representative
I'm guessing that as an assistant, I still don't have the appropriate clearance. FYI, there are duplicates because I was recently assigned to a new YSA stake with basically the same calling I had on my home stake's high council.

That is correct. In any given stake, there is only one person who can do this, and that is the STS. No one else. And they can't have multiple STS.

Actually you can have multiple STS's

What if our stakes does not have a stake technology specialist, is there a loophole or does someone have to be called in order to get the account information.

Someone will need to be called.
At the risk of "my calling is the most important calling" myopia, it appears that technology is becoming increasingly important to local units. I don't think when this is all over that we're going completely back to the "old normal". You may want to give that consideration in your choice and not just rush to install someone so you can start zooming
