New FHC Computer Setup Instructions
I recently received 3 new computers for the FHC. I am looking for instructions on how to set these up, but I'm not having any luck finding any. I've tried searching these forums and the main churchofjesuschrist.org website.
This page looked like it might be helpful, but all the links are dead
https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/cal ... y?lang=eng
Can anyone point me to where the instructions are for setting up these new computers in the FHC?
Thanks,
Brian

Re: New FHC Computer Setup Instructions
It's quite possible they're pre-imaged. The last time I got new computers (years ago) there was a slip of paper in there giving the passwords to log on.
If that's the case, just plug in and power up. At some point, it will probably ask you for the FHC's name and unit number.

Re: New FHC Computer Setup Instructions
Just wanted to follow up. Setup was very straight forward. Plugged in power, keyboard, mouse, network and turned on. It automatically went through the setup process. Only issue we has was the email address associated with our FHC. The email needed to end in ldsmail.net not familyhistorymail.org. A call to FHC support helped us figure that out.

I just changed ldsmail.org to familyhistorymail.com and it worked.

Re: New FHC Computer Setup Instructions
We received our two new computers plugged them in and they have been stuck on this screen for a week.
We did the Center Identification and it said it was completed.
We don't have any passwords and can only login to the Patron account. It tries to autologin to the Image account but it says the password is expired and we don't know the old one to reset it.
The computers are on the 10.185 network.
Any tips? Thanks.

Assuming that this is worldwide. The FHC Portal is intermittently down for maintenance for 90 days from the beginning of June. Could this have a bearing on the issue?
I know I have had issues when trying to set up a new FHC computer at home, which effectively means I’m not behind a Church firewall.
