Stake FSY Representative?

#1

Post by ckmcdonald »

There is a new Organization in LCR called "For the Strength of Youth" including a standard calling of "Stake FSY Representative".
This is not discussed in the Handbook that I could find.
Anyone know of any information describing this Organization/Calling?

Details are in the September 15, 2020 Notice from the Priesthood and Family Department entitled: 2021 For the Strength of Youth (FSY) Conferences Information and Guidelines, that went to all stake presidencies and bishoprics.

The Notice describes how young single adults are recommended to serve as volunteer FSY Counselors. It also outlines in detail the calling and resonsibilities of stake and ward FSY representatives, and how youth are approved to register and attend FSY.

I found a mention of FSY conferences in General Handbook 20.4, but it doesn't provide a lot of detail:

Chapter 20 hasn't been revised from the previous Handbooks yet, so I wouldn't be surprised if more detail will be added in revision. See the list of revised chapters here:
