Wards not showing in LDS Tools - New Stake
Our Stake split last week and we are in the new Stake. Since the split, we are no longer able to access any Ward information in LDS tools. This appears to be impacting all members in our ward. How do we get this fixed?

My suggestion would be for the stake clerk to contact the Global Service Center.

Changes such as this can take a while to settle out. If the information has not updated in Leader and Clerk Resources and the online Ward Directory and Map then Member Tools will also not be up to date. Member Tools will drop data and data pages during a sync when there are data issues. Check to see what is available in LCR and the online Ward Directory. If the changes have not made it there then Member Tools may not display any data as you are experiencing.

On your end, make sure the leaders have completed and submitted all the paperwork involved. Failure to do so will hold up the process.kadea wrote:Our Stake split last week and we are in the new Stake.

Assuming that the general authority turned in the required paperwork within a day or two, you can expect some things to work by the end of this week, a lot of things to be working after two weeks. Things should mostly be settled down after about four weeks. For Member Tools, I would sync late in the first week and then a couple of times a week, but not on Sunday.kadea wrote:Our Stake split last week and we are in the new Stake.
The same general schedule usually holds if there were bishop changes involved. It all starts, as russellhltn said, with the general authority turning in the stake division paperwork, and the stake president turning in the paperwork for any changes in bishops. Within a day or two, CDOL is usually updated, and then all of the computers start their discussions with each other. Most of these electronic meetings occur overnight. And each night the changes get further and further through the system.
It is a very detailed and complicated process, even when everything works exactly as hoped. Patience truly is a virtue.

When my stake split a few months ago I found that signing out of tools and then back in fixed the issue for me.
