Re: Add Circle
Just adding my voice in as well that it would be helpful if we could add local circles so that we could add things like the T&FH Committee or the Missionary Committee to the Unit Circles option.

Re: Add Circle
As previously mentioned, adding your voice here is unlikely to reach anyone connected to the decision-making process, as this Forum is primarily user-to-user discussion and self help. To add your voice and get it into the Church's system, please use the Feedback functionality available at the bottom of most Church webpages, or use the in-app "Send Feedback" available inside Gospel Living.just adding my voice in as well...

Re: Add Circle
Hello developers, You are doing a great job with this application. Wards operate with many councils. There are no circles for Ward Temple and Family History Council and Ward Missionary Council. There are also circles needed for Sunday school teachers, RS teachers, EQ teachers, YM advisors, YW advisors. Please add these circles or give bishopric admin rights to create circles. Thanks Bishop Peter Jeffrey

Re: Add Circle
Please see the post previous to yours. We are not the developers nor will posting here get the information to them. Please use feedback to do that. We are users of church systems, not church employees.pjeffrey wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2024 6:23 pm Hello developers, You are doing a great job with this application. Wards operate with many councils. Re: Add Circle
I have used the feedback within the application and do not get any response. How do I know anything is being done?

You won't. They usually don't respond. That's not to say it's not being considered.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

Re: Add Circle
That is the norm. We have been told by both the support people at the Global Services Department (GSD) and Church employees involved with the Tech Forum that the feedback system for mobile apps get the feedback to those responsible for reviewing feedback messages and making development decisions. Due to the limited staff to process the feedback messages and the number of messages received it is not practical to respond to each feedback message. If a response is warranted to get further information then a response is provided.
Unfortunately you don't. Development efforts and timeline schedules are seldom released to the general membership. In the past when a development effort was announced and a timeline given and things changed or what was promised did not happen the blow-back was overwhelming. After the release of the Gospel Living app there was an announcement of two yet to be delivered features on the Church News website. One was the ability to create circles. The other was the intended development of adding access to nonmembers to the app. Neither have happened, nor is there any further information about those features' status.
