Meraki Group Policy Manager NoSplash changes?

#1

Post by derrickfulkerson »

I noticed this morning in the Group Policy Manager that there are now two options. It used to only be “NoSplash” but now I see “NoSplash (from wireless)” and “NoSplash (from application)”.

All of the devices I had previously added are now under “NoSplash (from application)“.

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between these two options?

I believe the new policy would be related to the following announcement posted a couple days ago "Announcement: IOTConnect SSID" viewtopic.php?f=51&t=39403#p225440

There was also a rumour awhile back about WAP’s for Family History, could this be connected?

Isn’t this fun speculating about what this might be about! :D
