Technology Specialists,
Malware is often proliferated via the Windows platform, especially the older operating systems (e.g Windows 7). Church headquarters is able to push out needed patches to clerk computers (Windows 10) if they are registered with MEM and have IBM Bigfix installed. it is important that all church are manageable by the church ICS team. It is easy to make your machines compliant by following the attached instructions. If any of your clerk computers are not compliant, please help keep church data safe by following these instructions.

Bret, is there any way of telling if a system is already under management?

Second on russellhltn's question, and then add to that question: 6 of the 9 units in my stake are on the list of computers that need to be added, including the 3 computers I just replaced with new units from headquarters last year. I know those 3 computers are running IBM Bigfix since they were first setup, additionally one of the remaining 3 I was just looking at last week because the unit was having problems with their batch and happened to notice while I was debugging it that IBM Bigfix was running on it. So why would new PCs from headquarters not already be running IBM Bigfix, and if it's running but headquarters is still not reporting them in asset management, how do we fix that?

Our computers are located in the Draper Ut. department of corrections prison system. I'm not sure if you can push updates to them. What is your suggestion on how to proceed.

I just got an email from MHT stating that 2 of our clerk PCs are not under church management with a link to this thread, so it looks like if you have non-compliant PCs, you'll be notified.
