Jtech Encoder and Zoom / YouTube

With the end of the church webcast system coming in the future, I am looking into other options. The Jtech encoder has made it so simple to setup and run meetings.

Is there anyway to use the Jtech encoder with Zoom or YouTube, without having to login to it and update links, like is possible with the church webcast?

I realize this is a simple question, but my understanding of this technology is very basic.

Thanks for your help.

As far as anyone has discovered, Zoom doesn't accept anything except from their own clients.

There are ways of setting up YouTube so it's the same stream every time. However, that would mean that all meetings using that encoder would have to be set up on the same channel.

You may want to read the very long thread Church Webcasts using YouTube Live Streams, especially the newer stuff at the end.

Our solution in the stake I am Tech specialist for was to grab a man in the middle capture device (any of the marabou clones should work) as long as they have input and output stream in HDMI,

how they work is you plug in the HDMI from the camera feed into the input, and plug in a second HDMI to the output and then your current JTech/Teradeck.
plug the USB into the machine monitoring the jtech/teradeck and you now have a webcam that is just capturing the stream from your current external camera.

open zoom and use the mirabox capture as your camera and the mirabox capture as your microphone and anything that you currently have broadcasting on the church servers will be sent to zoom.

I will make a writeup on our solution, but basically we setup an ant media server and are sending the rtsp feed to it, and having it send the feed to the different services, as well as our members.

$10 a month and unlimited broadcasts to unlimited platforms and pushing to Zoom as well.

That would be awesome. I appreciate your willingness to create a write up of your solution.
