There doesn't seem to be much information on the calling of Email Communication Specialist in any of the descriptions of callings and duties. I just found that a sister in another ward in our building with this calling has been writing a weekly newsletter and then sending it to a member of the bishopric to send to the ward. They were not aware that the calling allows access to Send a Message in LCR. Has anyone found any description of this calling anyplace?

There was a letter sent out on June 4th, 2020, which is the only "official" mention I've seen:
https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/letters?q=17752
Notice, 4 June 2020: Communication Specialists
Wards and branches are encouraged to (1) keep sacrament meeting announcements to a minimum and (2) during the week, remind members via email, text, social media, or other means, of the meeting schedule for the next Sunday.

To facilitate such communications, the existing calling “Website Administrator” has been renamed “Communication Specialist.” A person holding the communication specialist calling may now email information to ward members by using the “Send a Message” function under “Applications” in Leader and Clerk Resources (LCR).
(Soon after, it was renamed again from "Communication Specialist" to "Email Communication Specialist.")

Can a ward have multiple people called to this calling to enable several people to send emails?
