Church Account is the primary user account (user name and password) for accessing online Church resources. Church Account was formerly known as LDS Account. This forum is a space to discuss all things related to Church Accounts (registration, account recovery, user experience, vulnerabilities, etc.).

I want to take my information out of privacy and make it public because I am the relief Society President for our branch can you please help me

Go to the Directory in the Member Tools app.
To change the household visibility limit (household privacy setting) and the individual items of the household visibility (privacy) settings
  • Tap your household in the directory.
  • Tap the pencil in the red circle icon in the lower right.
  • Tap the PRIVACY tab.
  • Tap the visibility settings one at a time on the page to change the privacy settings.
*Note the Household Visibility Limit setting determines the privacy setting limit for all the other settings under Household and for each household member.
For example if the Household Visibility Limit is set to Ward Visibility then all the privacy settings for the Household and for each household member will have a limit of Ward Visibility. A more restrictive setting for each of the items in the household items such as Phone can be set to Private - Leadership Only but not to a less restrictive setting such as Stake Visibility.

Once the Household Visibility Limit is set then each of the members of the household Individual settings can be set as desired. But as with the household limit the Individual settings cannot be less restrictive than the privacy setting for the Household Visibility Limit.

To set a member of the household privacy settings:
  • Tap the name of a member of the household and,
  • Tap each individual item privacy setting to change it.
For any questions or assistance, speak with your ward clerk. He should be able to show you how to make the changes or make the changes for you.
