No, there is no support for exporting LCR data.

I have been begging for this for a long time. There should be an option to print reports to a csv file just like there is for PDF. I would suggest you use the Feedback button on the Custom
Reports page and ask for this option on a monthly basis. If they get enough requests, maybe they will do it.

I'm afraid that is highly unlikely. Such exports were available maybe 10 years ago but they were explicitly removed. Legal and privacy issues were given as the reason (although no specific details were provided). So unless the relevant laws and/or privacy policies change, it is unlikely that the number of requests will make a difference.

One thing you can do is provide feedback to request the specific custom report (similar to what you would like to create from a .csv file). I recommend you provide a business case for the report. I am no longer a clerk, but If I were and my leaders asked me to build some report that is not in LCR, I would respectfully ask them to show me how since the church doesn't provide the functionality that they are wanting.

This is a good idea. If possible, I'd tie the report to a task assigned in the General Handbook to strengthen your case.

If there is nothing in the Handbook and this is a self-assigned project of the local unit, it's less likely to get implemented.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

I'm not sure what you're trying to export, but I created a custom list (e.g., YSA), highlighted and copied the list, and pasted it into Excel using plain text. Needed minor formatting adjustments. This might be useful for some situations.

Someone can let me know if this use is discouraged by the church. If so, I'll let our mission know to stop requesting the files. :)

The workaround that can be done is to use custom reports on the webpage itself. Design or open a custom report with the data you want. One the page where it displays the data, click and drag to highlight just the data and copy it. In Excel, right click on a cell and choose "Paste Special" and then select "Text". Sometimes it produces some weird results, but I find I can mess with the columns I include to correct it. I find that sometimes phone numbers without dashes cause issues.

This seems to work better than trying to convert or copy from a pdf.

HI @silus99,

What leadership role/calling has the permissions to use the custom reports? I have attempted to find the reports menu option you listed directions for and there are no options for me.

Thank you,
Halbop
