Add General Conferences to my eReader

#1

Post by pjlamb12 »

I'd like to add General Conference addresses as an ePub to my Kobo eReader. I enjoy reading on that over a phone/tablet. I can't see any way to download a conference via ePub, though. Is there a way to do this? Deseret Bookshelf has many(if not all) available, but I can't get those books on my eReader. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

I found myself wanting the same thing and ended up writing a script to scrape the church website and convert conferences to epubs. I put the script and epubs for every conference on the church website on GitHub: https://github.com/jasonccox/conf-to-epub/tree/master/conferences

I thought I was going to have to do something similar. Glad to see you've already done it! Thanks!
