Lighter text shade issues

#1

Post by jmorgenegg »

Whenever I open the library, the first document I open always has a very light shade of text. If I swipe at least two pages over, then swipe back to the original starting page, then the text appears normal.

This is IOS.

Any ideas on the cause of this issue?

I've seen this before. I think it has to do with the iPhone/iPad switching from dark to light mode or vice versa. Do you have your device set to automatically switch between light and dark depending on the time of day? It seems like, if the app is opened soon after the OS switches from dark to light, the app loads the text according to dark mode (light gray text), but the background according to light mode (white background) – maybe a timing issue. But it's hard to reproduce on demand, which makes it difficult for a developer to debug and fix.
