Missing Private Calendars

#1

Post by chadmitchell »

All private calendars are no longer accessible in our Stake. They show up like usual in the Manage Calandars option, but do not show up in the list of calendars for those who have access to them, neither in the web site nor the Tools app. As Stake Clerk I have access to several by both position and name, but they disappeared sometime in the past week. We use one to manage Stake Presidency meetings and Stake Presidency Interviews and those are no longer visible. Is anyone else having a similar problem?

Two things to check: check the viewer and editors for the private calendar. Make sure people haven't been removed.

Have the affected members check under "Choose calendar". Make sure the calendars haven't been turned off.

All members of the Stake Presidency are listed as editors for the Stake Presidency Calendar in the Manage Calendars option. However, the Stake Presidency calendar does not show up (nor do several other private calendars) for anyone who has access under the Choose calendar option so there is no way to turn it on. It appears that the function that allows access to private calendars based on name or role is broken and does not allow anyone access. That seems to be true for the entire Stake Presidency as I confirmed with them this morning. The calendar is still listed in Manage Calendars, but appears nowhere else on the web site (in several browsers) and on the iPhone tools app. The executive secretary still saw them on his android phone, but my guess is that he may not have refreshed since the problem happened. Those who have the calendars synced to other calendars also saw all events on private calendars disappear.
