Missionary Moved Wards - Balance in Old Ward

A missionary’s family has moved to a new Ward while their Missionary is serving. Can the balance in the Missionary’s account be transferred or somehow utilized for that specific missionary?

First thing is to transfer responsibility. You can find some reference to it at the bottom of Missionary Finances. When transferring, you can specify an effective date to help match things up.

Otherwise, you may be stuck with the old ward writing a check unless they belong to the same stake.
