The subcategory for the missionary shows a running balance. The equalized payment amount is withdrawn by headquarters from the missionary's subcategory whether there are sufficient funds to cover the withdrawal amount or not. Funds are withdrawn in arrears in the first week of each month for the previous month the missionary has served.

Based on your question I am guessing that the missionary's family, or whoever accepted financial responsibility, for the monthly amount would like to know how much they should pay each month based on other family members' as well as other donor contributions. This has been a topic of discussion in other forum threads. There is no report readily available to those making contributions. The ward clerk, or a member of the bishopric, can let the family know what the balance is on a specific date. Due to confidentiality of donations the clerk cannot provide any details other than to give the balance for the subcategory.

Makes for a really difficult situation when divorced parents have stipulated, legally or otherwise, to each pay half. By providing the balance to either of them the bishopric member or ward clerk could be telling the other former spouse that their agreement is not being lived up to.

If I were a clerk stuck in that position, I'd probably run a donation report that shows all the donations. Simple math would indicate if that person is keeping up.

The problem would not be the simple math, it would be staying out of the middle of the two former spouses and their potentially ongoing unfriendly situation. :(
