I do not think so. I believe the problem is at the Church sending end of the process, particularly since my Online Donation confirmation emails have also stopped arriving. I still get Send a Message emails at my gmail account from time to time although I do not know if some are not arriving. My elders quorum president says the messages he sends do not all go through.

Re: Yahoo inbox not receiving church emails
I am the technology specialist in my ward and all members that have a yahoo.com email address do not receive email for noreply-lcr@churchofjesuschrist.org. I created a yahoo.com email myself to test. I updated my profile on churchofjesuschrist.org to the yahoo email. I did as well get the email address from account@churchofjesuschrist.org, but not from noreply-lcr@churchofjesuschrist.org.
I have done the following on my yahoo account.
* Added a filter to move any emails from noreply-lcr@churchofjesuschrist.org to my inbox
* Added a contact with the email address of noreply-lcr@churchofjesuschrist.org
Multiple test emails were sent and nothing in spam, trash, inbox or any email folder.
Please let me know a resolution as 10 or so members are not receiving emails.

Re: Yahoo inbox not receiving church emails
I just tested it as well. I informed a few members about the issue and advised them to list a different email from another provider as their official church email.
I actually don’t think it’s on the church end because Yahoo is the only addresses affected that I can find. iCloud, gmail, and outlook seem to work.

Russell, can you explain WHO or WHAT we are waiting for to resolve this issue? That’s very nebulous to just say “wait.”russellhltn wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 2:49 am
At this time your choices are:One sub-option to waiting is to manually send emails to those who are not getting them.

Is church headquarters reaching out to Yahoo to get their domain unblocked? It seems to me that an organization as large as the church should be able to convince Yahoo to unblock the mail.

I am not russellhltn, but I have read all of the posts on this topic throughout the forum. Of interest is this one where the GSD said it was a Church issue.mattprasmussen wrote: ↑Mon Aug 15, 2022 6:55 am Is church headquarters reaching out to Yahoo to get their domain unblocked? Another post says that Yahoo is not blocking anything from the Church. And throughout the various topics in the forum it is apparent that Yahoo addresses are not the only problem.
Within the time and priority constraints the developers are given, I believe they are trying to solve the problem. But whether they are or not, there is nothing any of us here are able to do about it.
I still use Send a Message because it usually works for me. But, it has never been a 100% solution because many members do not provide their email addresses in the first place.

Re: Yahoo inbox not receiving church emails
From Yahoo's perspective, the Church is the equivalent of a company sending marketing emails. They are not a Yahoo customer. Though individual customers' voices are smaller, if the issue is on Yahoo's end, I think Yahoo is more likely to listen to their customers than an organization that wants their emails to have a wider reach.mattprasmussen wrote: ↑Mon Aug 15, 2022 6:55 amIt seems to me that an organization as large as the church should be able to convince Yahoo to unblock the mail.

Re: Yahoo inbox not receiving church emails
Just noting that it's not the domain as a whole (@churchofjesuschrist.org) that's the issue, as emails from account@churchofjesuschrist.org come through just fine. It's only emails that come from noreply-lcr@churchofjesuschrist.org or noreply@churchofjesuschrist.org that do not go through at all. I have no idea why that is from the backend, but something about those two emails or the system used to send them out (if it's different than the account address) is not playing nice with Yahoo right now.
Here is what I ended up doing as a workaround solution. Changed my email to my gmail address, and set up filters for the two email addresses that don't go through to automatically forward to my Yahoo address (and also mark as unread and archive within gmail). This worked perfectly for the donation recorded emails from the test donations I did over the weekend. Those showed up today in my Yahoo account as if they had been sent directly there, when they were actually sent to gmail and forwarded. However, the big downside is if/when any individual members who don't already know my Yahoo email pull my gmail address from Tools to send me an email. So I still have to remember to check that account at least occasionally.
Hopefully something magically gets fixed soon!
