Deceased member still showing in ward directory

Even though I have recorded the death, the name still shows in the ward directory. Can I as the membership clerk remove it?

How long has it been since you recorded the death? If I have gathered correctly from other/similar conversations, for some edits to records it can take overnight or about 24 hours for the change to propagate to other systems/tools/applications.

If you're using an app to view the directory, have you done a sync operation? That could also account for stale information being visible.

If you're using the web version of the directory, it _might_ be possible for your browser to have cached the relevant information. If that's the source of the symptoms, clearing the browser cache should help.
