Our Sunday school president asked if it would be possible to grant teachers access to record attendance for their classes in lds tools. The Sunday school presidency can access and input attendance data through the LDS tools app, but individual class teachers cannot. So as it stands now teachers record their attendance on paper forms which are given to the SS presidency who then have to record those in lds tools or LCR. They are wondering if it’s possible to allow teachers to access their individual class rolls in lds tools so they can enter attendance directly. This cuts out the SS presidency having to collect paper rolls and entering attendance figures.
Is it possible to grant teachers this access?

Re: Granting teachers access to record attendance
If the programmers were to receive instruction from the organizations they support to do this, it could certainly be done. If you feel this should happen (and there are many who do), your best opportunity to make that request is by sending feedback through the app, or through one of the feedback links at the Church website.
This Forum is a user-to-user discussion group. No one here is able to make changes to Church software, and the actual software developers do not frequent this site very often. And even if they did, they receive their instructions through a different channel.
