adding divorce date for deceased spouse

adding divorce date for deceased spouse

when trying to add a divorce date for a deceased spouse, there is no "change marriage status" option when selecting the pencil to edit icon on the family tab. The divorce occurred before the death of the spouse. The death date was entered before an attempt was made to enter the divorce date. How can the divorce date be entered under these circumstances?

You'd probably have to contact support. Either by phone or by using the "special request" feature in LCR.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

The special request was a feature in MLS but is not available in LCR. Instead the LCR Help menu has a Contact Us link which allows you to create a case.

Does it allow you to "tag" a membership record? That's the part that was handy with the feature in MLS. It gave a direct connection to the record in question. Support didn't have to hunt for it.

Not exactly, but with the membership number they can easily look up the record.
