Missing Online Donations

This is an issue right now, I just logged in to pay and it says I haven't paid anything this year, 2023 or 2022, it all says "no donations recorded". Is this some kind of IT glitch?

I can verify that my entire donation history is correctly listed when I log into my church account. I assume you've previously been able to see your donation history, and this is something new?

If so, the standard first suggestion is to try private/incognito browsing mode, as cookie-buildup often results in unexpected behavior with Church webpages. The second suggestion is usually to ensure that the account you're using to log onto the Church website, is actually connected to your MRN (membership record number). At times people have mistakenly used a church login that doesn't have their MRN, which would possibly cause the behavior you're seeing.

I'm online as of the time of this post and I can see my donations. Make sure your member ID is attached to your account. The site could have been having problems at the time you looked.

I donate directly to church headquarters (in-kind donations) or through my Fidelity Charitable Giving account. I do not want anyone at my ward level to see my donations. I think this is not uncommon.

Today is September 10, 2024. None of my donations for this year (2024) are showing up in my donation history. They were there about three or four months ago. I make my donations quarterly so I logged in to make my current donation and noticed that none of my previous ones are posted now. All of my information remains correct so that is not the issue.

Perhaps contacting your local finance clerk is a good next step. If he can verify your donations are showing up, then at least you can be certain it's not a deeper issue.

I have not been able to see my donation history since the church released the redesigned donations page a couple months ago. I make all my donations online through the church website, and have never had any problem accessing my donations history online until this latest release.

Your ward clerk should be the first line of support. It's always best to have somebody who can sit beside you and see exactly what you are seeing, and interactively help try things out. One idea would be that you try private/incognito mode in your internet browser. Church webpages often have problems with cookie buildup, which can produce issues with display of data, etc.

Just to confirm: when you go to http://donations.churchofjesuschrist.org and log into your account, you do correctly see a donation slip with your name and membership number listed? But you do not see a "Recent Donations" section in the upper-left corner of the webpage?

I don't see a "Recent Donations" section in the upper-left corner of the webpage, however, I do see a "Donation History" menu item:

Thanks for pointing that out. Looking into it, I found that if my browser window is not wide enough, I only see what you show in your image. Once I get the window wide enough (or maximized in my case), then the "Recent Donations" list shows up. You may also see the same behavior, maybe?

A good reminder to me, to not assume that what I see is what others "should" see

And back to the original issue, I think your "Donation History" menu selection is the better option for someone to try, since it seems that no matter the window size, that option appears to be always available.

Yes, you're right, if I make my window bigger, I see it show up on the left of the virtual donation slip.

This kind of hiding of information is a recent trend that I've noticed in "modern" website design that I think is a terrible direction to take. I've noticed that many websites now serve a page that appears to be formatted for mobile devices rather than a desktop browser (if your browser happens to not be full screen) and it's quite annoying in my opinion.
