I'm interested in searching the footnotes. Is that possible?
For example, Pres. Nelson delivered a presentation at a leadership meeting on March 31, 2022, which was later shared as an article in the October 2022 Liahona, titled "The Everlasting Covenant". I know that Elder Christofferson and Elder Anderson cited that article in their October 2022 General Conference talks. I suspect others might have, as well. Is there a way to search that?
Thanks,
D.G.

Re: Searching footnotes?
I tried searching a few different ways and this seems to be the situation:
1-There does not seem to be any way to search against the text of GC footnotes in the Gospel Library for Windows app.
2-There IS a way to search for this text through Google from the Church's website:
https://www.google.com/search?as_q=&as_ ... type=&tbs=
3-There does NOT, however, seem to be a way to search only for the text of footnotes from the Church's website.

Re: Searching footnotes?
I was able to find this footnote using the global search at ChurchofJesusChrist.org as well:
https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/search?lang=eng&page=1&query=%22Jesus%20cautioned%20His%20disciples%20to%20not%20allow%20the%20cares%20of%20the%20world%22

Re: Searching footnotes?
Sam,
Good to chat with you again!
Thanks for verifying that.
Just to clarify: do you agree w/my conclusion #3 that there is no way to search only against the footnotes field, or is there actually a way to do so?

Yes, I think that's correct – there's no way to search only in footnotes.
