Scripture chapters skipping to end when reading

Hello,
When reading Gospel Library scriptures on my iPhone now the app will automatically move to the end of the chapter when I am not touching anything.
I have restarted my iPhone 13pro and have recently updated to 16.4.1.

Thoughts?

I am having the same issue. The app skips to the end of the chapter just after the headphones icon appears in the bottom left corner. I can scroll up to earlier verses, however if I stop touching the screen, the headphones icon will reappear and the app will scroll back to the end of the chapter. If I keep a finger on the screen or continuously scroll up and down the behavior cannot override the scrolling.
