two step authentication

Church Account is the primary user account (user name and password) for accessing online Church resources. Church Account was formerly known as LDS Account. two step authentication

I have setup two step authentication using the sms function. However I am going to England and will not be able to receive texts.
I wil be using my IPhone and MacBook. What other authentication methods can I use?

Are you sure? The last time I traveled out of country, I was on Wi-Fi only. So I turned on Wi-Fi calling and could get texts.

I'd suggest going to https://account.churchofjesuschrist.org ... entication and checking the current options. Be sure to click on "Other Options" to see the full range.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

There is an option to use an authenticator app. I use this most of the time.

I have the same problem, I can't receive text messages or access the phone number I gave to verify. My account is not open on any device (I borrwed my partenr's account) and I cannot change the verification method. What can I do?

You're not the only one finding yourself in this type of situation! A forum search brought up this suggestion (amongst many others):
Your ward clerk can provide the phone number for the Global Services Department, who can help reset the authentication on your account.
