It keeps stating that I have it on my phone, but I am trying to load it onto my laptop. How do I do this?

It depends. What operating system does your laptop run? You need to go to the appropriate store and search for "FamiilyTree".
I've just been using the website: familysearch.org. I didn't even know there was a Windows app for it.
