I want to pay my tithing on line but it keeps saying I t doesn't let me do it because I'm not in the area, but I do live in the United States. How can I get it to let me pay on line?

Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

It looks like your LDS Account doesn't have your membership number on it. I was under the impression that non-members can use the LDS.org Donations tool. How does it work for them without a membership record number?

https://www.lds.org/donations ... or ... log on to LDS.org and select "Donations" in the Ward column in "My Account and Ward" and follow the prompts.

Nine out of 10 times it takes me 30 + minutes to get to find the pathway to be able to pay my donations to the church on line.
In this day and age one would think it would be easier to pay on line. I would like it to be about a 2 minute process and a happy time instead of a frustrating experience. I am 82 years old. I would appreciate your keeping it simple. Try not to keep changing the process so that my notes for the previous month no longer work. Thanks. Darrell Smith, Tri Oaks ward, Layton, Utah.

For larger screens (like laptops): Church main page, click on the waffle iron icon in the upper right, select "Donations".
For small screens (like phones): Church main page, click on the three lines in the upper left corner, select "Resources" (with the same waffle iron icon), select "Donations".

Your feelings are quite understandable, and likely shared by many others in the Forum. However, this Forum is primarily member-to-member discussion and help, so most all Forum participants are regular Church members like yourself, and it is unlikely any Church employees will see your comments. The official way to communicate something like this is by using the Feedback link available at the bottom of most Church webpages, which gets your feedback into the official Church system.I would appreciate your keeping it simple.
