Removing records of former missionaries

Prior to being called as ward clerk, records were added to LCR for two missionaries serving in our ward at the time. I believe the reason was so that they could be granted access to various ward Circles, but I don't know that for sure. The missionaries subsequently moved from the ward and are very likely home (or in college) after being released as missionaries. Their membership records were never moved into the ward. Whenever I access the abbreviated record in the system, it still references the missionaries' home ward - one in Draper UT and one in Lyman WY.

I cannot delete nor move out the partial record. I do not have a current address. Does anyone know how to remove the partial record from LCR, Tools, and Circles?

I suspect what you have is an out-of-unit record. It's not the actual membership record, but just a link to it so that an out-of-unit leader can hold a position.

If that's the case, you should just be able to remove them. But not having access to LCR, I'm not sure of the details. I'd start by releasing them from any callings they hold. If that doesn't do it, then you'd have to delete the record.

Managing the out-of-unit records is done in LCR > Membership > Manage Out-of-Unit Members. The records you want to delete will be in the second section titled 'Existing Out-of-Unit Members'. To delete an out-of-unit member record click the delete button next to the member’s name.
