Anyone have any information on having an AED (automated external defibrillator) in a Ward building? I did some searching (as best I can on this forum, at least), but everything was pretty old.
We'd really like to have one in our unit. We have a place willing to donate one. We have a personal already trained in using and maintaining it (which appears to be a legal requirement in some areas even though they are very easy to use without training if ever needed).
We checked with facilities years ago and got some push back and finally gave up. Before we dive into this again, I thought that I'd check here first to see if anyone had any insights. Anyone have one in their unit? If not, anyone try to get one and get denied?
Thanks!

Re: AED in Unit?
There's an old thread AED.
I also did some searching. It looks like the church provides them in a "workplace" setting. Nothing about having them in a church.

Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

AED's cannot be installed in church meetinghouses currently. Perhaps this policy will change, but for now that is the word we have gotten from facilities as well.

Well that continues to be frustrating and disappointing.
