Accessibility hard to read
how do I make the fonts larger in Tools, the Home Screen requires me to photograph my laptop screen with my phone to read the item headings. the fonts stay the same size, I suspect there must be a way to accommodate those of us who are no longer 19' with perfect vision,,,,

What operating system version of Member Tools are you using? I suspect the iOS version because in my Android version there are only two screen configurations in the Settings | Home Screen | Tile Size menu that are Compact and Comfortable. Neither look like the image you posted. At least the tiles are not as stretched out horizontally as in your image. The tiles remain square in both the portrait and landscape modes. Only the number in each row change between the two views. Try going to the settings and see if there is a home screen tile size menu item that you can change. If that doesn't help then use the in-app Send Feedback feature to report the issue.

It looks like you're using the iOS version of Member Tools on a Mac. I don't think macOS has a way to change the font size for a single app, unfortunately (except for a few of Apple's built-in apps), but there is a way to change the display zoom for all of macOS, which makes all apps bigger:
Apple menu (top left) > System Settings > Displays > Larger Text
Apple menu (top left) > System Settings > Displays > Larger Text
