On our Income and Expense Details screen at the top right of the details table it shows "Balance as of 1 Jan 2024" (unfortunately it is showing a negative balance ).
Then, the first three entries/rows in the details table are 9 Dec 2023, 9 Dec 2023, and 31 Dec 2023.
Why are these three December 2023 expenses showing up for "current year"? When I click the reference number the only thing I can find is the exact same date of December (I was thinking perhaps they were entered in in December but not approved until 2024, but I can't find any date information in the details).
It does seem a little odd that two of the expenses are fairly early in December (12/9/2023), so that has me confused about why these are "2024" expenses?
Thank you~,
Nathan

Re: Last year's expenses showing up in current year?
I can't say for certain but I think you are correct that they are expenses that were entered in 2023 and approved in 2024. I see similar differences when creating custom filters in the Income and Expense Details. I found one expense dated Feb 2nd which continues to show up when I adjust the filter until I get to Feb 12th. I'm pretty sure that I entered the expense on the 2nd but the stake president didn't approve it until the 2nd Sunday later. But that date doesn't show up anywhere in the expense details.
Note that if you go to the Expense Summary tab instead, I think it will only show things entered in 2024.
