LDS Themed Wallpaper

Postby mesmith » Sat Feb 13, 2010 2:32 pm

I administer the computers in our wards Family History Center. We just received as donations seven brand new Dell computers. With such new computers we got the letterbox style monitors. I am seeking/suggesting a location to download LDS themed wallpaper that would be appropriate for a FHC (and others) computers with these new screen resolutions. Does such a place already exist? Would there be interest in creating one?

Family History is shipping wallpaper FS_Btree.jpg (see attachments) on new desktops and in the past they used LDS_DT5-Admin.jpg and LDS_DT5-Patron.jpg (see attachements)

Please contact Family History support and ask for a copy of their FamilySearch.scr screen saver (used in the FHL in SLC), see email posted below

Subject: Family History Screen Saver
Attached is the screen saver we use on the Patron Desktop [at the FHL in SLC].
Feel free to distribute it to any Family History Center you wish.

Just save it/copy it to either the:
C:\WINNT\System32 folder - for Windows 2000 computers [in FHCs], or,
C:\Windows\System32 folder - for Windows 98 or Windows XP [at home]

Then you'll be able to pick it from the list of screen savers in the Display Properties [Start, Settings. Control Panel, dbl click Display and get “Display Properties” window to pick and watch screen saver as it cycles thru various still photos] Enjoy!
