Playback issues while listening to institute manuals

I have been trying to listen to the D&C student manual the play back speed is ridiculously fast. When I adjust the speed it does nothing for that specific manual. It will adjust it for other things I have open but not that manual.

I'm guessing it's playing Text to Speech, which has its own playback speed. In Gospel Library, go to Settings > Audio Settings > Text-to-Speech Options. This will open the Android system text to speech settings, and from there you can adjust the speech rate.
