Help Finding List of Those Who Have Made Youth Donations

Post by josh_newman »

I’ve been tasked with putting together a list of the families who have and haven’t made their donations for youth conference and can’t for the life of me figure out how to do it. Is there a way I can find a list of all the youth/see all donations including ones that were made online?

I'm assuming the youth conference is a specific category in your budget. I've never used finance on LCR, but on the older systems you could do a income or at least income/expense for a specific category.

This is assuming that all donations were correctly categorized. I don't think anyone can make online donations to budget.

If you haven't researched and read the information about the For the Strength of Youth (FSY) annual conferences you should do so. You can find FSY information in the Resources menu after signing onto the Church website and clicking the All Resources button. To quickly get to the FSY pages type "FSY" in the search box and click the first link in the search results. Then click the event location country for your unit. There are six tiles for the United States. Click the Frequently Asked Questions tile. Then click "How much does it cost to attend FSY?". There are two links, Youth Approval Tool and Billing Information, in the article that will provide funding information. I found that as a ward clerk that when I clicked the Youth Approval Tool link and scrolled down past the article general information there was a table of information for all the eligible youth in my ward and their individual status. The status does not explicitly state if the attendee payment has been made. But if the bishop has marked "No" for the column titled "Ward to Pay Participant Fee" and the attendee has the "Successfully Submitted" annotation below their name then the participant fee amount has been paid.

The Billing Information article describes the billing process and when the unit will have the FSY funds drawn against the unit Budget > FSY category.
